The Institute of Human Resources and Strategic Management held an investiture on Saturday for some of its deserving members who became Fellows of the Institute and among them was Mr Johnny Usifoh who was elated for the honour he received.
The requirements for becoming a fellow of the Institute are quite demanding and requires a lot of professionalism from intending members.
Mr. Usifo on the requirements has stated, “An individual must have a minimum qualification of B.Sc or its equivalent in any discipline with working experience of not less than 8 years not necessarily in HR department.
“An individual must exhibit high level of professionalism in human resources and strategic management practice either in private or public establishment.
“An individual have served the institute diligently and meritoriously for Four years or more of post Full Membership in the event of been a Full Member otherwise it is not necessary
“An individual must be out standing in character and attitude.
“An individual must have demonstrated leadership quality either as an employer or employee”
The elated Mr. Usifo could not hide his joy as he beamed with smile and confidence, “Feeling highly elated on my investiture, a recognition for hard work and this will by no means spur me into doing more” he stated.
The Institute of Human Resources and Strategic Management of Nigeria is a professional body registered by the Federal Ministry of Education, Federal Ministry of Justice and Corporate Affairs Commission to redefine human resources and strategic management practice and profession.
